About Me
I specialize in treating individual adults over age 18.
I have deep roots in the Pacific Northwest: My maternal grandfather
logged local forests, and my paternal grandfather commercially fished
salmon in northern Puget Sound; I spent numerous summers working on the
fishing boat that was in my family for three generations.
As a former Everett public school teacher for over 30 years, and
as a licensed mental health therapist for over fifteen years, I gained extensive
experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults.
After receiving my counseling degree, I expanded my education by
taking marriage and family courses through Chapman University College at
the Whidbey Naval Air Station.
In addition, I also completed training as an EMDR
therapist.
I am a State of Washington Licensed Mental Health
Counselor (LH60080464).
